As Ontario Certified Teachers and educational professionals—not clinicians—we are not registered OAP providers and cannot bill OAP directly. However, some students have funding through OAP for educational supports such as tutoring, executive function coaching, and consulting. We recommend checking with your OAP case worker to confirm whether our services would be eligible for coverage under your child's plan.
Some families also have coverage through Health Spending Accounts (HSA) or Flexible Spending Accounts (FSA) offered through their employer benefits. We're happy to provide receipts and documentation for reimbursement through these programs.
For questions about other funding sources, please reach out directly and we can discuss your specific situation.
No diagnosis is required. That said, knowing your child’s learning profile helps us tailor our approach and support more effectively.
Student sessions (academic support, executive function coaching) are provided virtually so we can serve families across the country and beyond. Virtual sessions also mean no travel time for your child—just log in from home and we get to work.
For consulting services (school meeting attendance, advocacy support), we offer both virtual and in-person options. In-person meeting attendance is available within the Greater Toronto Area for an additional fee to cover travel time.
Absolutely! While we're based in Ontario, we work with families across Canada and beyond through virtual sessions. The Pathways Series (specialized support for students) is available regardless of your location.
For school-based advocacy and consulting through The Bridge Series, we're most familiar with Ontario's education system, but we're happy to discuss how we can support you. Feel free to reach out and we can explore what makes sense for your family.
No. We are educational professionals and consultants—not therapists or mental health professionals.
Our services focus on educational support, executive function coaching, and school advocacy. While many of the strategies we use support emotional regulation and confidence, this is not a replacement for therapy or clinical intervention.
If your child needs mental health support, we're happy to work alongside their therapist or counsellor as part of a comprehensive support team.
